Joe Wilson’s Rebel Yell: Where did that come from? The New York Times asks; we answer.

After South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson’s “You Lie!” outburst during President Obama’s health-care address, The New York Times asked me—along with a few other close observers of Southern politics—to try and put it in some context. See my analysis and others at the Times‘ “Room for Debate” forum , and add your two cents either here or there (or in both places, better yet).
