Prom Night

”For the last four years, I have volunteered as the prom night photographer for the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I document the entire prom ritual, from hair and makeup in the dorms, until the last dance at midnight. The images serve to memorialize this rite of passage for the attendees and their parents, and it is my hope that they will ultimately serve a larger audience as a medium for consideration of what life might be like
as a blind teenager.”
