Nightwalks

“I’m interested in how we behave in various environments and how that behavior influences our perception. With my Nightwalks photographs, I brought a way of walking in the wilderness to an urban environment. Rather than traveling across a physical distance, I went out at night—spending a continuous working week without a phone, ID, or money while sleeping during the day. This created a radically different relationship to a place that I experience as my normal everyday environment.”
