310 Bills Will Head to Senate Committees


Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst announced today he will refer 310 bills to committees this afternoon in what is the first set of between 4,000 to 5,000 bills total.

“We’ve got our work cut out for us,” he told senators.

The Senate adjourned at 2 p.m. today and will convene at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.
