Smith, head of the Christian Nationalist Party which also ran MacArthur for President in 1952, and many other speakers of like views. Mrs. Baldwin, another colleague of Elizabeth Dilling, was active in behalf of Father Coughlin’s Christian Front Movement. Constitutionalist Baldwin was also a promoter of so called “mothers” groups and was a leader in the United Mothers of America, which distributed much defeatist propaganda to mothers and wives of servicement during World War II. Constitutionalist Kenneth Goff offers an interesting study. Goff has said that he was at one time a Communist; then, after foUr years in the Party, he said he reformed and became a part of the Christian Nationalist Party and one of Gerald L. K. Simth’s field workers. In January of 1946, Goff was jailed in Denver on a charge of passing a hot check. Tenney was speaking at the San Pedro Playhouse in San Antonio under the sponsorship of the American Heritage Protective Association, which is headed by Austin Hancock. Speaking on Un-American Activities and Communism, Tenney’s speech often referred to the part that Jews and “organized Jewry” were playing in undermining America. His address was liberally sprinkled with statements such as: why there is only one Alger Hiss for nine Rosenbergs; why it is that the Roths, the Coplons, the Eislers, the Golds, the Greenglasses, the Brothmans predominate on any dishono list of treason and betrayal in the United States.” Tenney also said: “The 1948 Report of the California Senate Committee is a case in point. We had uncovered two organizations which we had designated as Un-American and we named them in the Report …. These two organizations turned out to be subsidized fronts for the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith.” 50 feet of said Lots 1 and 2 heretofore conveyed by the said Lewis C. Holder to T. J.
