The ad used a visual of a logo similar to Bayer Aspirin’s registered trademark in front of a pill being dropped into a glass of water. The pill then dissolved like an Alka Seltzer, or like the Bayer candidacy which in the end didn’t wash either. Some are wondering why Bayer wasn’t packaged as the former EPA litigator that he once was. Or, the lawyer who drafted the chemical right-to-know law sponsored by Democratic Rep. Ed Watson. Or the only candidate to try his hand at imposing some genuine campaign finance standards. V MORE BAD MEDICINE from the physicians who are out to heal us all. If Congressman Sarpalius is hard to swallow keep in mind that the American Medical Association, in American Medical News, is taking their share of credit for Senator Sapp’s advance from the state Senate to the U.S. Congress. The doctors came through again, this time with $100,000. Not that Sarpalius’s opponent was a better choice. The best medicine in this case might have been to sit the election out.
