The Central Texas Showdown

Temple—The Central Texas Showdown is an annual bodybuilding and figure competition held in Temple. Competitors such as Tiffany Heilaneh perform a one-minute stage routine in which they are judged on their musculature, posing and overall look. Preparation for the contest begins months in advance with dieting, mental discipline and, of course, hours in the gym. Heilaneh warms up backstage before a performance.
