“I am opposed to sanctuary cities, but I still haven’t come across one that exists.”

“Based on what I’ve read we don’t have any, so I don’t see what the big deal is. … But people perceive this is a problem. So in this context we ought to have a uniform and consistent policy.”

“Texas becomes less safe when people are scared to report crimes because of possible deportation.”
