Goodbye.” Rowan: “Amazing.” Conway: “No, Brownsville.” Just before the blackout Conway insisted, however, that “We’re going to integrate ’em if we have to send them all the way to Mexico.” This is the eighth year in which Longview schools have been integrated and the plan under which the school district now is operating has been approved by a federal district court. During that time no act of violence by any adult has been linked to the integration of the school system. If the bombings involved in the case now being heard in Tyler are in truth connected to that integration, it will be up to a jury in a federal court to say so.
