Since 1954
Chilton Tippin received a master’s degree in Latin American and Border Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in cultural anthropology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He spent 2024 conducting anthropological field research with communities responding to climate-change-induced drought along the Rio Grande.
