Uh-oh. Juan Garcia trails Hunter

November 4th, 2008 at 9:17 pm

In the hot District 32 House race in Corpus Christi, Democratic incumbent Juan Garcia is trailing Todd Hunter. Hunter, a former Democratic state representative-turned-lobbyist, leads 51.23% to 45.63%, with 11 of 77 precincts reporting. The libertarian has 3.1%. Not good news for Texas Democrats looking to take back the House.

On the other hand, Garcia’s college buddy Barack Obama has the presidential thing pretty much in the bag. If Garcia loses, is he D.C.-bound?
