Mea Culpa on Campo Post

Looks like I wasn’t paying as close attention as I thought. Travis County Commissioner Sarah Eckhardt voted yes on all the toll road proposals except for SH 45. And Austin City Council member Jennifer Kim voted no on all five toll road proposals. Kim actually spoke against the plan forcefully.

Spending $910 million tax dollars to shift our freeways to tollways is offensive. NO CITY IN THE COUNTRY HAS SHIFTED IT’S PUBLIC HIGHWAYS TO TOLLWAYS. These are not convetional toll roads

Didnâ€™t Eckhardt run on an anti-tollroad platform? Didnâ€™t she call her opponent the â€œToll Queenâ€ and distribute mailers with that opponentâ€™s picture shown with a crown and lots of dollars laying around?

Whatâ€™s up with that? Did anyone hear her explanation for this extreme reversal of position?
