WD-40 in trouble

November 4th, 2008 at 9:39 pm

One of the so-called WD-40s (white Democrats over 40) is in trouble. With half the precincts reporting, Democrat Chuck Hopson is barely, barely behind GOP candidate Brian Walker who leads by 300 votes, 19,761 vs 19,461. If things hold, this could lead to a recount. If Walker wins, a big pickup for the GOP in a night with wildly mixed results so far, statewide, in the crucial race to control the Texas House.
